Oklahoma and Cincinnati are set to square off on Sept. 23, in what looks to be the first and last matchup between the two teams for a long time. Cincinnati is embarking on its first season as a member of the Big 12, while Oklahoma is entering its last season of conference partnership before transitioning to the SEC.

Action Network's Brett McMurphy reported Monday morning that the Sooners and Bearcats will kickoff at 11 A.M. CST on FOX.

Oklahoma is certainly no stranger to 11 A.M. contests, especially in recent years. The kickoff time shouldn't necessarily come as a surprise.

So far, five of Oklahoma's 12 regular season games have kickoff times attached. Of those five contests, three are set in stone for 11 A.M., including Sept. 2 vs. Arkansas State, Nov. 24 vs. TCU, and now Sept. 23 against Cincinnati.

This will be just the third time in program history that the Sooners and Bearcats have squared off, with Oklahoma winning the two previous matchups. The most recent contest between the two came in 2010, with OU squeaking by 31-29. This fall will be the second time the Sooners have travelled to Cincinnati and the first time in 13 years.
