OXFORD, Miss. -- The No. 4 Ole Miss Rebels, fresh off a home series win over the Maryland Terrapins, are set to host the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at Swayze Field in midweek baseball action on Tuesday.

The Rebels currently sit at 6-1 overall on the year, and they will throw righty JT Quinn on the mound to start the game. As of now, Ole Miss and La Tech are slated to play another round on Wednesday, but the weather forecast puts that bout in question.

For now, however, follow along below for live updates between the Rebels and Bulldogs on Tuesday.

PREGAME

Head coach Mike Bianco released his starting lineup on Tuesday afternoon, and it can be found below.

Tywone Malone gets the start at designated hitter for the Rebels, and Ole Miss is in its typical midweek pinstriped uniforms for the game.

FIRST INNING

JT Quinn works a 1-2-3 inning to start this one off. 

MID 1: Ole Miss 0, Louisiana Tech 0 

Jacob Gonzalez singles up the middle to start the bottom half. 

Groff triples, and Gonzalez scores. UM 1, La Tech 0

Nothing else for the Rebels in the frame, and Groff is stranded at third.

END 1: Ole Miss 1, Louisiana Tech 0 

SECOND INNING

The Bulldogs are retired in order in the second.

MID 2: Ole Miss 1, Louisiana Tech 0 

Tywone Malone draws a two-out walk to keep the inning alive.

Chatagnier singles, putting runners at first and second with two down. 

Gonzalez walks to load the bases, and Groff is HBP to score a run. UM 2, La Tech 0 

Nothing else for the Rebels in the frame.

END 2: Ole Miss 2, Louisiana Tech 0 

THIRD INNING

Quinn continues to cruise with another three-up, three-down inning.

MID 3: Ole Miss 2, Louisiana Tech 0 

Alderman smokes a single up the middle to get the inning started. He then steals second to put a runner in scoring position. 

Calarco singles home Alderman, and Ole Miss extends its lead. UM 3, La Tech 0 

Lege doubles, and there are runners at second and third with no outs. 

McCants strikes out for the first out of the inning. 

Malone and Chatagnier both strike out to end the inning.

END 3: Ole Miss 3, Louisiana Tech 0 

FOURTH INNING

Quinn still has not allowed a baserunner through four innings of play.

MID 4: Ole Miss 3, Louisiana Tech 0 

Gonzalez singles on the first pitch of the bottom of the fourth. He is then caught stealing for the first out of the inning. 

Groff draws a one-out walk. He advances to second on an errant pickoff attempt.

Harris singles to score him from second. UM 4, La Tech 0 

Alderman strikes out, and Calarco singles to put runners at first and second with two down.

Nothing else for the Rebels in the frame.

END 4: Ole Miss 4, Louisiana Tech 0 

FIFTH INNING

Quinn allows his first baserunner with a one-out walk in the fifth. 

A wild pitch advances the runner to second. Another walk puts two runners on, and Bianco is out for a chat. 

An infield single loads the bases with one down for the Bulldogs. 

Quinn surrenders a double, and Ole Miss' lead is cut in half. UM 4, La Tech 2 

Mason Morris is out of the bullpen for the Rebels. 

A groundout to third cuts down a runner at the plate for the second out. 

A three-run home run for the Bulldogs gives them their first lead of the day. La Tech 5, UM 4

A walk puts a two-out baserunner on first. That followed by a single up the middle puts runners on the corners. 

Bianco is going to the bullpen again to get Jackson Kimbrell. 

Kimbrell gets a strikeout to finally end the inning for the Rebels.

MID 5: Louisiana Tech 5, Ole Miss 4 

McCants flies out to get the inning started for the Rebels. 

Malone strikes out, and Chatagnier walks to keep the inning alive. 

Gonzalez singles into left, and there are runners at first and second with two down. 

Groff strikes out swinging to end the frame.

END 5: Louisiana Tech 5, Ole Miss 4 

SIXTH INNING

The Bulldogs record a one-out single in the top half of the inning. 

A strikeout and pop out end the inning.

MID 6: Louisiana Tech 5, Ole Miss 4 

Calvin Harris draws a leadoff walk. Alderman follows it by working back in the count and earning a walk. Two runners on with no outs, and Louisiana Tech is holding a mound visit.

Calarco flies out to left for the first out of the frame. 

Lege grounds into a fielder's choice, putting runners at the corners with two down.

McCants singles through the right side, and that scores a run. Runners still at the corners with two down. UM 5, La Tech 5 

Malone strikes out to end the inning.

END 6: Ole Miss 5, Louisiana Tech 5 

SEVENTH INNING

La Tech records a leadoff single to start the inning. 

A walk on a close full-count pitch puts two runners on with no outs. 

An out comes on batter's interference, still two runners on base. 

An RBI single scores a run, but the batter is out trying to advance to second. La Tech 6, Ole Miss 5 

A strikeout ends the inning.

MID 7: Louisiana Tech 6, Ole Miss 5 

Chatagnier pops out in the first at-bat of the inning. 

Gonzalez singles into CF, and he now sits at a perfect 4-for-4 on the day. 

Groff grounds into a double play to end the inning.

END 7: Louisiana Tech 6, Ole Miss 5 

EIGHTH INNING

Cole Ketchum is now on the mound for Ole Miss. A HBP puts a runner on, but a fielder's choice on a bunt gets the first out of the inning. Runner on first with one down. 

A double play ends the frame.

MID 8: Louisiana Tech 6, Ole Miss 5 

Calvin Harris grounds out to start the bottom half of the inning. 

Alderman flies out for the second out of the frame. 

Calarco singles up the middle to keep the inning alive. Ethan Lege now at the plate. 

Lege flies out to right for the third out.

END 8: Louisiana Tech 6, Ole Miss 5  

NINTH INNING

A pop out gets the ninth inning started for La Tech at the plate.

A fly out to deep right accounts for the second out. 

Ketchum issues a walk on a full count, and there is now a runner at first with two down. Bianco is going to the bullpen, and in comes Mason Nichols. 

Nichols gets a fly out to center, and the Rebels come to the plate looking to tie or walk this one off.

MID 9: Louisiana Tech 6, Ole Miss 5 

TJ McCants draws a leadoff walk. Will Furniss in to pinch hit for Malone. 

Furniss grounds into a double play, and the Rebels are down to their final out. 

Chatagnier strikes out to end this one.

FINAL: Louisiana Tech 6, Ole Miss 5
