Ole Miss Rebels vs. Arkansas State Red Wolves Midweek Baseball Game Canceled

The Ole Miss Rebels and Arkansas State Red Wolves will not play baseball on Tuesday night due to inclement weather.

The Ole Miss Rebels and Arkansas State Red Wolves were scheduled to play a midweek baseball game in Jonesboro on Tuesday night, but due to inclement weather in the area, the contest has been canceled.

The Rebels were looking to continue some momentum established last weekend when they took down the Mississippi State Bulldogs in an SEC series, but they will now have to wait for when they resume conference play on Friday in Athens against the Georgia Bulldogs.

Ole Miss holds a 20-16 overall record and a mark of 5-10 in conference play. If the Rebels hope to make a run towards the postseason, they will need to rack up some wins in Georgia this weekend, and following that trip, Ole Miss will return home to host North Alabama before its next SEC series against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Those games will also be held at Swayze Field.

First pitch on Friday night between the Rebels and Bulldogs is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT, and the game will be televised on SEC Network+.
