LIVE UPDATES: Ole Miss Looking For Second-Straight SEC Win vs. Vanderbilt

In this story:
OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss Rebels men's basketball team is set to host the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday at 12 p.m. CT in The Sandy and John Black Pavilion, and Chris Beard's team has a chance try and separate itself from the rest of the Southeastern Conference.
The Rebels are searching for their 15th win of the season, while Vanderbilt will be trying to pick up its first conference victory of the year. Ole Miss checked that box on Wednesday when the Rebels crushed the Florida Gators 103-85. It was a historic game for Ole Miss, as the team had not had a 100-point scoring game since 2013, and it was the first 100-point contest recorded in the SJB.
Entering Saturday's matchup, the Rebels are averaging 78.2 points per game, while the Commodores are averaging 68.9 ppg. Matthew Murrell leads Ole Miss in scoring with an average of 16.9 ppg.
