Just days after the Oregon Ducks received a commitment from junior college safety Bennett Williams, another big recruit announced his intentions to come to Eugene in the coming years as well.

Three-star offensive lineman Jackson Light, part of the 2021 recruiting class, announced on Twitter on Thursday morning that he intends to attend the University of Oregon.

In the post, Light said that he is "incredibly grateful for all of the moms and dads growing up that fed, drove, watched out for, cheered for and coached me."

Light, who stands at 6'2" and 275 pounds, was in attendance for Oregon's home game against California in early October, and just two weeks later, he has made the decision to shut down his recruitment. As a three-star prospect on 247 Sports, Light holds the No. 6 national ranking for centers. His commitment to Oregon leaves schools like BYU, Missouri, Nebraska, Utah, and Utah State behind.

This is the third commitment that the Ducks have gotten for the 2021 class, and Light will join the likes of Anthony Beavers Jr., an athlete from Harbor City, CA., and Seven McGee, a running back from Rochester, NY. The Ducks currently have the No. 11 recruiting class in the nation for 2021, and it will likely climb in the ranks in the coming months as it tries to piggyback off of the 2020 class in Oregon, which already ranks No. 15 in the nation, according to 247 Sports.

Look for more dominoes to fall in both the 2020 and 2021 recruiting classes as the season wears on.
