2024 Vancouver (Wash.) Evergreen offensive tackle and Oregon Ducks commit Fox Crader was in Eugene over the weekend to see the Ducks take on the USC Trojans.

He took some time to discuss the trip with Ducks Digest.

"It’s always a great time going out there. The energy was different," Crader said of the visit. "I think they were saying they had a record amount of recruits in the history of Oregon football there for that game."

Seeing some of his future teammates during the big recruiting weekend was among the highlights.

"I got to see a lot of commits. MVB (Michael Van Buren) was there. Jordan AndersonLuke MogaTrent (Ferguson) and Devon (Brooks) and all the other guys. Seeing Bo Nix and Caleb Williams battle it out was definitely a highlight. It’s always great to watch two O-lines that are good do their thing. Overall it was a great trip."

The Ducks have been playing some great football this year and Crader continues to be impressed with what Dan Lanning is building in Eugene, giving his thoughts on this year's Oregon team.

"I think it’s safe to say Oregon is the best team in the Pac-12," he said."I think that game with Washington was kind of a fluke. Anyone who watched that game can tell Oregon should’ve won. I think the Ducks are doing great.

"It’s fun to watch the team that I will be on have success. The O-line’s doing great. On Saturday the only difference that I could see that they could’ve done better with was the penalties. Overall the Ducks are doing great and it’s been fun to watch and I’m excited to get out there."

Crader received a massive influx of new offers, many of the from SEC programs, following his commitment to the Ducks. He commented on the status of his pledge to the Ducks.

"I'm solid with Oregon. I can’t wait to get out there. I’m a Duck," he said. "My family are Ducks. I’m definitely locked in."

The 6-foot-6, 295-pound tackle doesn't appear to be one of the more vocal recruiters in this class, but there's one name in particular that he'd love to play his college football with.

"In terms of recruiting, I just do my best to keep an eye out for the guys that are interested in Oregon," Crader said. "Jordan Seaton, I would love to see him join us. He’s a hell of a player."

The future Duck offensive lineman said he'll be back in town for the regular season finale against Oregon state.

When it comes to enrolling, he's going to enjoy the rest of his time as a high schooler and play a few other sports before he begins his college career.

"I’ll probably sign on early signing day. I’ll talk to my coach about that soon. We haven’t really discussed that 'cause I’m locked in," Crader said. "In terms of enrolling, I'm gonna be a summer enrollee because I’m playing basketball and doing track."
