McClellan is rated a 4-star (0.9532) recruit by the 247Sports Composite. The same system ranks him the No. 94 player nationally, the No. 17 wide receiver and the No. 4 recruit in Missouri.
The Ducks already have some momentum in his state, landing a commitment from St. Louis (Mo.) Hazelwood Central defensive lineman Tionne Gray.
McClellan committed to Ryan Day and the Buckeyes in August from a top group that included Oregon. In the time since his commitment, Junior Adams and the Ducks have stayed involved.
Oregon currently has three wide receiver commitments in the 2024 class in Jordan Anderson, Dillon Gresham and Jack Ressler.
McClellan is undoubtedly the biggest name the Ducks are still recruiting at wide receiver and he'd be a massive addition to this class if they're able to get him to flip away from the Buckeyes.

"I love (Junior) Adams he's a great guy," McClellan said of his Oregon interest at OT7 back in June. "Talk to him all the time. Him, Coby (Sayyah), Coach Lanning, I talk them every day. Just talking to them, building that relationship with them is really good."
Junior Adams has been one of the best recruiters on Oregon's coaching staff since he coming over from Washington and it looks like the St. Louis product has his full attention.
