2025 Conroe (Tex.) cornerback Dorian Brew is one of the best defensive backs in the country.

On Wednesday, he released his top five schools, whittling down his list of 24 reported scholarship offers and the Oregon Ducks made the cut.

Michigan, Penn State, Texas and Ohio State round out the top five schools for the 6-foot-2, 185-pound cornerback.

Brew is rated a five-star (0.9876 according to the 247Sports Composite) recruit and is ranked the No. 19 player nationally, the No. 4 cornerback and the No. 6 recruit in the state of Texas on the same system.

The touted cornerback recruit also set a commitment date for January 24, as he appears ready to announce his college decision.

Oregon's 2025 recruiting class has four verbal commitments, which is good for the No. 11 class in the country according to the 247Sports class rankings. The group is headlined by Tampa Bay (Fla.) Tech wide receiver Dallas Wilson, who committed to the Ducks nearly a year ago on January 17.

The Ducks signed a trio of elite cornerbacks in the 2024 recruiting class under Demetrice Martin in Dakoda Fields (CA), Ify Obidegwu (MD) and junior college star Sione Laulea III (CA). Oregon also landed a commitment from UTSA transfer cornerback Kameryn Alexander earlier this week, as the team bolsters its secondary ahead of facing more elite offensive skill talent in the Big Ten.

Should he choose Oregon, Brew would be the first defensive back commitment for the Ducks in 2025, however it seems on the surface that Ryan Day and the Ohio State Buckeyes could have the momentum heading into his decision. However, two weeks is a notable amount of time, as more visits could materialize between now and his announcement.
