2024 Lee's Summit (Mo.) High defensive lineman Williams Nwaneri has locked in five official visits.

One of those trips will be to Oregon on September 23, according to 247Sports Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong.

The other four trips on the schedule are to Georgia, Tennessee, Oklahoma and the in-state Missouri Tigers.

Oregon has two defensive linemen in the fold so far in 2024 with Yuma (Ariz.) Catholic edge rusher Jaxson Jones and Florrisant (Mo.) Hazelwood Central defensive lineman Tionne Gray, who flipped from Missouri to Oregon in April. 

Some other names the Ducks are pursuing along the defensive line in 2024 include Xadavien Sims, Elijah Rushing, Jordan Ross and Joseph Jonah-Ajonye among others.

Sims is set to announce his college commitment on Saturday May 20 and is the No. 1 player in Oklahoma for 2024. He took multiple trips to Eugene this spring and the Ducks have come on strong in that recruitment.

Tony Tuioti has prioritized adding defensive linemen from the high school ranks since he was hired by Dan Lanning, signing ten defensive linemen in the 2023 class, headlined by Matayo Uiagalelei, Terrance Green and A'Mauri Washington.

Defensive line is a position of need for the Ducks in the 2024 cycle as they're set to lose Brandon Dorlus, Popo Aumavae and Casey Rogers among others following the 2023 season. Lanning has placed a clear premium on dominating the line of scrimmage, as further evidenced by additions like Jordan Burch, and more recently Nishad Strother on Monday.
