PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers have added a new frontcourt player to their transfer portal recruiting board. Buffalo center Issac Jack is looking to transfer after spending one season with the Bulls and Pitt is one of the schools hoping to land his commitment out of the transfer portal.

Pitt and Jack were in contact over the weekend, according to a report from college basketball recruiting insider Andrew Slater. Slater reported that Arkansas State, George Mason, St. Bonaventure's, Grand Canyon, Oregon State, San Jose State, San Diego, Portland and Portland State have also reached out to Jack. He also has a visit to Vanderbilt planned, according to Slater.

Jack averaged 5.6 points and 4.2 rebounds while making 31 appearances and 20 starts, with an average of 16.4 minutes played per game during his true freshman season. He scored nine points, grabbed three rebounds and blocked two shots against the eventual national champion, UConn last December and scored 13 while collecting five rebounds in 24 minutes against West Virginia the following month.
