Pitt Football Adds Georgia Tech Transfer Dylan Deveney

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- On Tuesday, the Pitt Panthers picked up yet another transfer tight end. After landing junior college product Karter Johnson from Butler CC in Kansas last this past weekend, Georgia Tech transfer Dylan Deveney announced his intention to transfer to Pitt by simply changing his Twitter bio.
Deveney, a former three-star prospect in the class of 2019, had Division I offers to play both basketball and baseball. He didn't even start playing football until halfway through his senior year at Shawnee High School in New Jersey. Deveney fielded offers from Cincinnati, Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pitt and Temple before committing to the Yellow Jackets.
He played sparingly at Georgia Tech, amassing just 14 catches, 102 yards and a touchdown in three seasons. He appeared in three games this past season against Clemson, UNC and Pitt. He spent about a month in the transfer portal before committing on Tuesday.
Deveney has three years of eligibility remaining and will be able to play immediately.
