How To Watch: #21 South Carolina Vs. The Citadel

South Carolina's baseball team looks to bounce back after a tough weekend against the Clemson Tigers and get back to winning against The Citadel.

After two tough losses this weekend to instate rival Clemson, which came down to, as Coach Mark Kingston said, "One swing of the bat," South Carolina will need to put this series behind them and improve moving forward. Heading into the next game against The Citadel, Carolina needs to put more emphasis on situational hitting. The Gamecocks were a combined 4-23 with RISP in the series and couldn't capitalize on the chances they were given, which hurt more with both losses coming by a singular run.

The Citadel will come into Tuesday's game with a record of 9-2 with a pitching staff that is giving up a .264 batting average thus far. They also give up an ERA of 5.18, so while there are runs to be had potentially, the staff does a decent job at getting strikeouts with 84 on the season. While the essential part of this game is to get back to winning for Coach Kingston, hopefully, there will be some confidence and momentum gained by improving on the areas they struggled with this weekend.
