Many South Carolina fans, including several SEC schools, are familiar with Collin Murray-Boyles. Now, a wider and more national audience may finally see what all the fuss is about in Columbia, South Carolina, with Murray-Boyles, who had his second-best scoring performance of his young career against Arkansas in the second round of the SEC tournament.

He scored 24 points and hardly missed from the floor, making 11 of his 15 shot attempts. He continued to be a force on the defensive end, with four steals and forcing several contested shots for Arkansas' frontcourt players. Murray-Boyles' final stat line was a team-high 24 points, along with 7 rebounds, 4 steals, and two assists. He also set a school record with 11 field goals made in an SEC tournament game.

Moving on to the third round of the SEC tournament, the Gamecocks will face off against Auburn, who touts one of the best frontcourt duos in the SEC in Jaylin Williams and Johni Broome; Murray-Boyles will need to be a force again after the disappointing 40-point loss at Auburn in February when he and Meechie Johnson were the only ones who had solid games.
