How To Watch: No. 1 South Carolina Vs. Alabama

South Carolina's women's basketball program hosts Alabama tonight in a potential SEC championship-clinching game.

Dawn Staley and the South Carolina Gamecocks are hosting Alabama tonight, looking to secure the SEC regular season title with a win over the Crimson Tide. Alabama has won five of their last six games, with the lone loss coming to a top fifteen LSU team. The Crimson Tide is led offensively by Sarah Ashlee Barker, who averages 17 points per game and makes 51.5 percent of her shots from the floor. Alabama is also a solid defensive team, averaging nearly nine steals and four blocks per game.

For South Carolina, they will need to continue doing what has worked for them in the past, and that's gritty defense and limiting their turnovers. With 18 turnovers in the last game against Georgia, the Gamecocks' highest total since the Florida game back on January 4th, it made the game much closer than it should've been. To clinch the SEC regular title tonight, they will need solid play from the frontcourt to put this game away, hopefully, sooner rather than later.
