How To Watch: #1 South Carolina Vs. Vanderbilt

South Carolina Womens basketball team is back home hosting Vanderbilt after a massive win at LSU Thursday night.

After an instant classic between arguably two of the best teams in the nation this past Thursday, Dawn Staley and the crew are back home hosting the Vanderbilt Commodores. This is a game that the Gamecocks can't afford to overlook, and the likelihood of a Staley-coached team overlooking any squad is slim to none. However, this is a Vanderbilt team coming into this game with a 17-3 record on the season and 4-2 mark in conference play.

Carolina will need to come into this game hot and ensure they "keep the main thing the main thing," as Te-Hina Paopao said leading up to the LSU matchup. The defense for the Gamecocks will likely be the most significant factor of this game, with it being the most formidable team defense Vanderbilt will have played thus far this season. South Carolina's ability to suffocate the Commodores' airspace early could be beneficial as this contest plays out.
