In a report via our recruiting specialist Fisher Brewer, David Bucey is expected to commit to South Carolina at the end of his official visit which came to an end this weekend.

Brewer's report was also confirmed in a tweet, via the Sports Talk Media Network page, stating that Buckey is likely to commit after his visit to Columbia. 

Bucey, a 2022 Georgia 3-AAA Athlete of the Year is a two way-player at Savanah Christian that made it to the quarter finals in this past seasons Georgia playoffs. The South Carolina recruit totaled 100 total tackles this past season, 18 tackles for loss, 4 interceptions, and 4 sacks. On the offensive side of the ball playing wide receiver, he racked up 747 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns. 

The 6-foot-1 linebacker is also teammate to the #1 player in the class of 2025, Elijah Griffin.  Griffin who stated on his twitter that he is still 100% open to recruitment is leaning towards jumping over hedges with UGA at Samford Stadium, via 247 Sports. 

Upon Bucey's expected commitment to USC, he will become the second LB to commit following fellow three-star, Fred Johnson, from Norfolk, Virginia.
