Recruiting Stakes High for Gamecocks' Spring Game

The visitor list for South Carolina's spring game Saturday is packed with top high school athletes from all across the country. With an expected visitor list that includes names like Dylan Stewart, KingJoseph Edwards, Amare Adams, and more, South Carolina will have its hands full trying to impress the many blue-chip recruits in Columbia. Considering the talent heading to the spring game this weekend, Saturday is quickly becoming one of the most critical days of the year for the Gamecocks.
Seldom does a team have the opportunity to host dozens of top recruits and targets for the program. Typically a team will host multiple recruits on a game day, but the coaching staff is too distracted to truly talk and connect with the players. Saturday is an excellent opportunity, not just for these coaches to spend more time with these juniors and sophomores, but for these same recruits to get an inside look into the program and what to expect from the team if they commit.
Considering the team's momentum on the recruiting trail, it's hard to imagine the team does not make a good impression on the many fresh faces in the building.
