The TCU Horned Frogs hope to stay hot and snowball their weekend sweep into a winning streak as they travel down I-30 to face the UTA Mavericks

This will be the second matchup between the two teams this season, with TCU winning the first one 7-3. Brody Green and Kurtis Byrne led the charge in that win, and a Horned Frog bullpen game kept the bats of the Mavericks quiet.

The Horned Frogs have shown that they are willing to treat midweek games as experimental games, either by slotting players in different positions or putting new players in the lineup entirely. Fans can expect this to be no different, especially with a road trip to Cincinnati this coming weekend. Even more so, for the third week in a row, the starting pitcher for the Frogs is still TBA, emphasizing the expectations being another bullpen game for the team.

For the Mavericks, they are fresh off a series win against conference foes Cal Baptist, and have been on a roll winning five of their last seven games. UTA will look for offensive production from Tyson Pointer and Parker Airhart. Pointers leads the team in batting average with a .310 and Airhart is the teams power threat with six homeruns and 19 RBI's this far into the season.

TCU will square off for the 178th time against UTA in Arlington on April 2 at 6 p.m.
