Big 12 Baseball Power Rankings: Final Standings

Disclaimer: The rankings below are for the games played through Saturday, May 21, and do not include Big 12 Tournament games.
For the last few weeks, it looked like West Virginia would coast to the Big 12 regular season title and hold the top spot in our final Power Rankings. Last weekend, all they had to do for the championship was win one of three in Austin. They failed to do that, so three teams – West Virginia, Texas, and Oklahoma State – all share a portion of the regular-season title.
The regular season is behind us, and the Big 12 Tournament begins Wednesday. We know the seedings based on the regular-season performance, but do those seedings match what our panel of voters thinks?
We have brought together a group from across the league to vote each week during the season on the Big 12 Power Rankings. There are 21 participants in this group, which consists of the KillerFrogs editorial staff plus one or two fans from each of the other schools in the league.
Each week, each participant provides their rankings 1-9. Those rankings are compiled, and the average rank is then listed below. (For those of you counting, Iowa State does not play baseball).
For these final Power Rankings of the season, we thought we’d recap each team’s journey – where they started, where they finished, and where they went in between.
National rankings listed are based on current rankings by D1Baseball. Team records are through May 20 and do not include any tournament games.
