College World Series: Today in Omaha- Day Three

College World Series Game Five - TCU vs. No. 7 Virginia
The Horned Frogs and the Hoos both lost in heartbreaking fashion in the ninth inning of their respective Game Ones. TCU held a three run lead entering the top of the ninth inning, and Oral Roberts scored four runs to take the lead and give TCU its first loss in almost a month. Virginia also held the lead in the ninth inning, but a home run from the Florida Gators shocked the Cavaliers.
It is always interesting to see how teams and coaches perform with the season on the line, because, for the most part, that only happens once a year. Both teams felt like their game ones got away from them and will be looking for a bounce-back victory to keep their seasons alive.
College World Series Game Six - No. 2 Florida vs. Oral Roberts
There may not be a more resilient team in the country than the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles. It simply does not matter who that team plays, they are going to bring it. After a dead-locked first seven innings against TCU, the Horned Frogs were able to pull away and take a three-run lead into the ninth. It didn't matter to the Golden Eagles, who had been there many times before. They would score four runs in the top of the ninth and beat the scorching hot Horned Frogs.
Florida, the more talented team, will have its work cut out for it. The pure talent favors the Gators easily, but none of that matters in Omaha. The Gators themselves showed resiliency in a comeback win over Virginia on Friday. Both teams would rather die than lose. It should be a fun one.
