The TCU Horned Frogs take on the West Virginia Mountaineers on April 21-23. Here are some key West Virginia baseball team players that TCU fans should know before the series.

#11 Ben Hampton

Junior Right-handed pitcher from De Pere, Wisconsin

The lefty has been one of West Virginia's most reliable arms on their team and has played well this season. He has racked up 50 strikeouts in just over 52 innings of work. He has also maintained a 4.10 ERA. However, TCU will have to get to him early before he gets into a routine because he is money when he gets into the groove.

#12 Blaine Traxel

Grad student Left-handed pitcher from Burbank, California

Traxel has been pretty good this season, putting up good innings of work and making teams work for runs. He has a 3.29 ERA and has 49 strikeouts this season in 65.2 innings pitched. However, this Horned Frog team will have to fight and jump on top early because this West Virginia pitching staff is outstanding.

#43 Robby Porco

Freshman Right-handed pitcher from Warrington, Pennsylvania

The freshman has emerged as the team's Sunday starter and has had good and bad outings, which is expected from a freshman. He has a lot of talent and can really throw the ball at an excellent level. TCU can definitely get to him. However, they need to know he can be effective and good!
