NCAA Baseball Regionals: Sunday Results

The Road to Omaha has begun. You've got Bowl Season in December-January, March Madness, and then June baseball – the trifecta of ultimate college sporting events.
Sixty-four teams began their journey on Friday. In 16 Regionals across the country (well, mainly in the Southeast), the round-robin double-elimination tournament is underway, with lots of excitement for the next three to four days. Of these teams, 16 will win their Regional and advance to next weekend's Super Regionals.
Three more No. 1 seeds - Clemson, Miami (FL), and Vanderbilt were eliminated on Sunday. This eliminates five of the 16 host teams before the Super Regionals.
Alabama, Indiana State, Oral Roberts, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wake Forest all punched tickets to the Super Regionals.
On Monday, two Regionals, Baton Rouge and Fayetteville, will play Game Six, and Game Seven if necessary. Five other Regionals will all play decisive Game Sevens on Monday - Auburn, Conway, Gainesville, Lexington, and Stanford.
Six teams from the Big 12 were in action on Saturday. Oklahoma State was the first to be eliminated on Saturday. On Sunday, Oklahoma and West Virginia were eliminated. The Sooners won't be having a magical postseason like last year.
Texas won the Coral Gables Regional and will return to the Super Regionals. Texas Tech lost to Florida in the Gainesville Regional. Those two teams will face each other again in a decisive Game Seven on Monday.
TCU had a resounding win over the No. 3 national seed Arkansas, winning 20-5 and setting an NCAA postseason record for runs scored. They will play Game Six of the Fayetteville Regional against Arkansas on Monday at 2 p.m. CT. Game Seven, if necessary, will be played at 8 p.m. CT Monday.
