TCU's upcoming weekend series against the Texas Longhorns is highly anticipated. Unfortunately, fans will have to hold that anticipation for another day. The Texas at TCU baseball series has been pushed one day, starting Saturday and concluding Monday, due to expected severe weather in the DFW Metroplex on Friday.

Saturday's first pitch is now Game 1 in the series, with Friday's game being pushed to Monday. Fans with tickets to Friday's game can attend only Monday's re-schedule. Those who can't make it Monday can exchange their tickets for Saturday or Sunday, based on availability. No refunds will be issued, per the TCU Athletic Department.

Check out the modified series schedule below.

Texas At TCU Series Dates Changed Due To Weather

Saturday's Game 1 first pitch comes at 6:00 p.m. CT, the originally-scheduled time. This game will be broadcast on ESPNU. Sunday's Game 2 comes at 3:00 p.m. (a change from the original 1:00 p.m.), and Monday's rescheduled Game 3 also begins at 1:00 p.m.

Current forecasts call for an enhanced risk of severe weather Friday, with a strong potential for large hail and possible tornadoes. As a result, TCU decided to call outdoor athletics contests.
