TCU Men's Basketball: Horned Frogs Struggle Offensively in Loss to Kansas State

In this story:
It was a rough night for the TCU Horned Frogs as they suffered their second consecutive loss 82-61 at the hands of the Kansas State Wildcats. The loss drops TCU to a 6-5 Big 12 record and 2.5 games back of the conference-leading Longhorns.
Mike Miles missed his third consecutive game as he recovers from a hyperextended knee. His contributions on the offensive end has been dearly missed. Damion Baugh has filled in nicely for Miles, and he put together 16 points, five rebounds, and five assists. However, having both of them on the court makes this team much better.
The Frogs trailed for most of this game. They committed 19 turnovers in the first half. The Wildcats outrebounded the Horned Frogs by 12. Eddie Lampkin returned to the lineup but didn't score and only secured one rebound in 18 minutes. It was a game that saw TCU fail to get into any sort of rhythm offensively and Kansas State always having an answer.
Markquis Nowell led all scorers with 18 and contributed seven dimes. The senior guard is having a fantastic season averaging 17 points and eight assists a game. Kansas State also did a good job limiting transition buckets for the nation leader in fast break points.
It was a game that TCU will look to forget quickly. Things won't get much easier as they host no. 14 Baylor this Saturday in a massive matchup.
