The #23 TCU Horned Frogs (14-2) dropped their second game in a row on Saturday to Oklahoma State (9-5) by a score of 67-59. One thing to note is that Sedona Prince did not play due to a hand injury she suffered against #6 Baylor. While Sedona Prince is slated to return before the end of the regular season, TCU is going to have to figure out how to win without one of their three game-changers.

Madison Conner and Jaden Owens were TCU’s leading scorers, Conner with 20 points and Owens with 19 points. Oklahoma State had 4 double-digit scorers in Praise Egharevba with 14 points, Quincy Noble with 11 points, Stailee Heard with 11 points, and Lior Garzon with 10 points. No double-double was recorded in this game for the Frogs bringing their long streak to a stop. While this TCU team is still competitive without Prince on the court, their scoring certainly suffers when the center isn’t dominating in the paint.

TCU started the second half on the right foot by doubling Oklahoma State's scoring in the 3rd quarter, but TCU's slow start in the first half played a large factor in their loss. Despite TCU getting within a 4-point deficit, a rough 4th-quarter shooting performance also played a role in Oklahoma State securing the win.

While Women’s Basketball may not be ranked after this weekend, one can bet safely on them returning to the Top-25 by the end of the season. TCU's upcoming schedule doesn't do them any favors with Prince out for a majority of the regular season.

TCU's next four games include their next game in Austin against the #10 Texas Longhorns (15-1) as well as a game next week where they will host the #11 Kansas State Wildcats.
