TCU women's basketball will try to snap a four-game losing skid against No. 7 Kansas State on Wednesday at Schollmaier Arena.

The Horned Frogs (14-4 overall, 1-4 Big 12) have struggled since center Sedona Prince exited the line up with a finger injury at Baylor. Prince finished the Baylor game but missed the next three games and is expected to be out until late February/early March. A normally potent scoring attack has averaged 58.7 points over the last four games compared with 80.5 during the season-opening 14-game winning streak.

TCU remains a dangerous team from behind the three-point line, averaging a conference-high 9.8 per game on 37.6% shooting. The Wildcats will test that firepower with the conference's best scoring defense (51.6 points per game) and three-point field goal percentage defense (22%).

Kansas State, led by former TCU head coach Jeff Mittie, is riding an 11-game winning streak and off to the best conference start (5-0) since 2007-08 and overall start (17-1) since 2008-09.

The Wildcats latest victory came over No. 10 Texas, 61-58. Center Ayoka Lee scored a team-high 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting, grabbed ten rebounds and blocked four shots. Guards Serena Sundell and Jaelyn Glenn broke double-digit scoring as well.

DaiJa Turner passes to Agnes Emma-Nnopu against Oklahoma State.

Lee also notched two career milestones against Texas, becoming the fourth player in Kansas State history to reach the 2,000-point mark and the program leader in career blocked shots. Her 284 blocked shots rank ninth in Big 12 history.

TCU forward Aaliyah Robinson will likely draw the task of slowing down Lee. Robinson has averaged 8 points and 3.6 rebounds since stepping into the starting lineup for Prince.

Madison Conner put up a team-high 20 points in the 77-66 loss at Houston. Guard Sydney Harris, a transfer from Central Michigan, added 16 points off the bench during the second half. Harris nailed 4-of-5 three-point attempts and snagged seven rebounds.

The injury bug also struck versus Houston, taking out point guard Jaden Owens in the first quarter. This forced freshman guard Victoria Flores, who scored four points and dished out two assists, into extended action. TCU committed a season-high 24 turnovers as Houston applied a full-court defense.
