TCU women's basketball continues its two-game homestand Tuesday against No. 24 West Virginia while seeking to snap a four-game losing streak. The game will serve as the annual Play4Kay game. Coaches and players will be decked out in pink gear to support breast cancer awareness.

Both TCU and West Virginia enjoyed historic starts to this season, ending non-conference play undefeated under the guidance of first-year head coaches.

The Mountaineers are coming off a 65-58 loss at then-No. 18 Baylor. Prior to that game, West Virginia (20-3 overall, 9-3 Big 12) had won seven straight conference games and currently sits tied for third place with Texas in the Big 12 standings.

Guard JJ Quinerly, who averages 19.3 points per game, paced the Mountaineers with 13 points against the Bears. Guards Jordan Harrison and Kyah Watson each added 12 points. Watson snagged a game-high 15 rebounds for her fifth career double-double.

The Mountaineers put up nearly 78 points per contest while giving up 56.4 points. These numbers are second in the conference and top 30 nationally.

Harrison tops the Big 12 in assists per game at 5.5 while Quinerly ranks in the top 10 in shooting percentage (46%). The duo also leads the Big 12 in steals per game, combining for 6.2 steals. West Virginia boasts a 9.35 turnover margin and forces 24.4 turnovers per game. The Mountaineers failed to force at least 20 turnovers for just the second time this season versus the Bears.

Sydney Harris versus Texas

Sydney Harris goes up for a shot against Texas.

TCU (15-8, 2-10) will battle a ranked opponent for the third straight game. The Horned Frogs have lost seven straight meetings versus the Mountaineers and trail the all-time series 21-5.

Guard Agnes Emma-Nnopu scored a team-high 11 points and snagged nine rebounds in TCU's 65-43 loss versus then-No. 7 Texas. TCU struggled shooting, making 14-of-48 field goals (29.2%).

The three-point line remained an important factor for the Horned Frogs with eight makes on 29 attempts. Emma-Nnopu, Aaliyah Roberson, and Sydney Harris nailed at least two three-pointers.

Harris has made a team-high 46% from behind the arc since returning from an injury in early January. Her 5.7 threes per 40 minutes leads the Big 12 and ranks second nationally behind Iowa's Caitlin Clark.

TCU dished out 11 assists (78% assist rate) against the Longhorns and has the Big 12's second-best assist-to-turnover ratio (1.27). Guard Tara Manumaleuga has 32 assists over the last three weeks, a number that ranks third in the conference.
