The 2023-24 schedule is set for TCU women’s basketball and first-year head coach Mark Campbell.

Last month, the Big 12 Conference released the conference basketball schedules for all 14 teams. The Horned Frogs’ non-conference schedule came out in August.

TCU will start the Campbell era on Nov. 6 against Oral Roberts. The conference opener is Dec. 30 at home versus BYU. Conference play concludes on March 2 at West Virginia. The Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship will take place March 7-12 with all 14 teams at Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center.

The Horned Frogs have a Big 12-era record 20 home games on the docket. Of those home games, nine will be against conference opponents.

As part of non-conference play, TCU will host the annual Maggie Dixon Classic Nov. 19 against Army. The first and only non-conference road trip of the season comes Nov. 23-25 against UTEP and Nebraska at the St. Pete Showcase in St. Petersburg, Florida. TCU will not leave the state of Texas again until a visit to Ames, Iowa to play Iowa State on Jan. 20.

To fill out the 18-game conference schedule, the Horned Frogs will play five home-and-home series and play the remaining eight teams once. Conference pairings will pit TCU against Texas, Texas Tech, West Virginia, and newcomers BYU and Houston twice. The Horned Frogs will also visit Baylor, Cincinnati, Iowa State, and Oklahoma, with Oklahoma State, Kansas, Kansas State, and UCF visiting Fort Worth.

Conference game times and broadcast specifics will be announced in the coming weeks.

Campbell has built the 14-woman Horned Frog roster through the transfer portal and incoming high school recruits. The 14-woman roster has six returners, six transfers, and two high school recruits.

The men’s and women’s basketball programs will host a preseason event, Schollmaier Live, on Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. featuring a performance from nine-time award Grammy Award nominee Rick Ross. Other festivities include a skills challenge, games, and an introduction of the men’s and women’s teams. Doors open at 6 p.m., and admission is free.
