In this story:

Week Two of college football saw one of the best games of the young season, and potentially one of the best games of the year when Texas traveled to Tuscaloosa and beat then-No. 3 Alabama. It was the first time Nick Saban had lost by double digits at home since being the coach at Alabama.

With that win, Texas jumped up to No. 4 in the AP Top 25 and to No. 6 in the AFCA Coaches Poll. Other big moves in this week's polls include 2-0 Colorado, having now doubled their 2022 win total, moving up in both polls. Miami (FL), Iowa, and UCLA all moved into both polls, having not been ranked last week.

Besides Texas, the other ranked teams from the Big 12 include Kansas State (15/15) and Oklahoma (19/16). Five teams - Cincinnati, Kansas, Oklahoma State, TCU, and UCF - are receiving votes in at least one of the polls.
