The Colorado Buffaloes haven't been this relevant to college football since 1990. Now helmed by Deion Sanders, the Buffs have been in the news almost constantly this offseason. Primetime begins his tenure at the national runners-up TCU Horned Frogs. The game has been scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 2, but its network and kick time were confirmed Monday.

Colorado at TCU will broadcast on Fox's Big Noon Kickoff show, kicking off at 12:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. CT on FOX.

Save for ESPN's College Game Day, Big Noon Kickoff is the premiere college football pregame show and features highly-anticipated matchups. Last year, they ventured to Norman to cover Nebraska at Oklahoma – a long, storied rivalry revitalized in 2022.

Another Big Noon Kickoff broadcast this season includes Ohio State at Michigan. All eyes will land on Fort Worth during that window as eager fans await to see how Colorado shapes up this season.

In addition to being a big hire, Sanders overhauled the Buffs' roster like never before. Of the 83 eligible scholarship players from 2022, 63 of them transferred from the program in the offseason. Sanders made it clear from Day 1 that he was bringing in "his guys," of which included many from Jackson State, Coach Prime's previous stop.

Not only is Week 1 the debut for the coach, but for his son, Shadeur Sanders, who transferred to Boulder to assume the starting QB position. Former No. 1 recruit Travis Hunter also joins the squad as a possible two-way player.

TCU comes off a Cinderella season in which they made it to the National Championship Game. Although their dreams of a title were dashed by Georgia, the Horned Frogs made their first College Football Playoff berth and shocked Michigan in the first round.

TCU has made two appearances on the Big Noon Kickoff program, both of them coming in November 2022. TCU is 2-0 in those games. TCU hosted the show on November 5, defeating Texas Tech 34-24. Two weeks later, the Frogs made their second appearance on November 19 in Waco. TCU beat Baylor 29-28 in that game.

A majority of the team departs in the offseason, so the college football world will have to re-calibrate expectations for 2023 in coach Sonny Dykes' second season.
