Editors Note: "Crossing the Goal Line" is a weekly column by Nathan Cross in which he predicts the upcoming TCU game. He looks at the point spread, the over/under, and makes a prediction. This is his opinion and should not be taken as betting advice.

I will be the first to admit I was totally wrong about my prediction against Colorado. However, I am going to put that aside and say that the Carter Boys are going to bounce back big against Nicholls. Here are five reasons to back up my opinion.

Why TCU Will Beat Nicholls

TCU will be looking for a rebound win

The Frogs are in desperate need of not only a win, but a very convincing win. It would stop all the talk, but a large win over Nicholls would comfort Horned Frog fans.

TCU has a better roster

This is pretty obvious, but TCU has a deeper and more stacked roster. Nicholls does not have nearly the talent that the Horned Frogs have. This is good news for the Frogs because they should be able to give a lot of different players playing time.

TCU is a Power 5 conference school

This is a game the Frogs are supposed to win. It is the type of game I wish we would have had first to break the rust off before playing a bigger named school. However, anything could happen, so TCU should still play hard and physical.

TCU will be at home

TCU will be playing in front of their home crowd, and it is a night game, so it should be cooler. I think The team will be more prepared and ready to go for this game. I expect a whole new physicality level. I think the Frog fans will show up and be loud for this matchup against Nicholls.

There is still a whole season ahead of them

This team has only lost once, and it was the first game. Anything can happen. The Frogs need to learn from the first game and go make this a great season. They can get back on track and maybe even make a run at the Big 12 Championship.

I think TCU wins this game 63-14. In the end, TCU will be too much for Nicholls. TCU needs to put it to them to gain a little ground in college football again. This is the reason I have them scoring this high.
