Today at the players' press conference for TCU Football, we had offensive lineman, Obinna Eze and safety, TJ Carter. Both of the players talked about the expectations for this weekend versus Oklahoma State.

“We need to get back on the winning track," said Eze. "And having a good team victory versus Baylor is what we needed.”

It definitely helped them shake back after all the us and downs they have been facing this year injuries, to miscommunication on field play, and to losing their head coach Gary Patterson. None the less, this team has been ready for whatever adversity is thrown at them.

Eze also stated, “Talent has never been a problem with this team.” Which is true. This TCU Football team is stacked with talent. But, they have also been plagued with injuries this year putting. This put to a halt to a run that they could actually legitimately have a shot at competing for something bigger than just a bowl game. From the talent stand point, they are talking about Chandler Morris. He put together a performance last game that put the whole world on notice that Chandler Morris is going to be here for a long time to come. He put together a performance that shocked the whole world.

Carter being the reserve quiet person he is he did not have much to say, but that Oklahoma State has a pretty good offense, and that we prepare for games the same way regardless of whether Coach Patterson is here or not. He went on to say,

“There is a lot pf craziness that happens in sports," said Carter. "I have been through so many different coaching changes in my college career. But you can only control what you can control.” That’s only right for the whole teams mindset moving forward so they can finish the season strong.
