Texans Select Dylan Horton in Round Four of NFL Draft

With the 109th pick in the 2023 NFL draft, the Houston Texans took defensive end Dylan Horton. Horton joins a Texans team in the midst of a rebuild and has started a new era with the hiring of head coach DeMeco Ryans formerly the defensive coordinator with the 49ers, and drafting quarterback C.J. Stroud and linebacker Will Anderson Jr.
Horton finished with 144 tackles and 17.5 sacks in his collegiate career. His best season came last year with the Frogs, where he finished with 10.5 sacks and was a staple on this TCU defense.
Quentin Johnston was the first Horned Frog taken off the board, going 21st overall to the Chargers, followed by Steve Avila, who went 36th to the Rams, and Kendre Miller, who went 71st overall to the Saints.
