TCU Women's Golf: Newest Transfer Player

The TCU women's golf scores former Plano East High School star and Oklahoma Sooner Meagan Winans. She spent the last two seasons at Oklahoma, where she competed in 12 events holding a 75.19 stroke average and a low-18 score of 68. Before attending Oklahoma, Winans was named to the AJGA All-American, 6A All-District, and All-Region teams during her senior year at Plano East High School.
She also received the 6A Golfer of the Year award in the state of Texas during her senior year. Winans was dominant in high school, as she never placed outside the top 5 in any tournament she participated in.
This was a huge addition to the roster for TCU head women's golf coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin as she already has a stacked roster with players such as Caitlyn Macnab and Sofia Barroso Sá. Winans is the first addition to the Frogs from the transfer portal, but she is definitely a huge addition. Look for her to fit in right away and impact this team. This team is well on its way to a dangerous season.
Welcome to the #FrogFam, @meamea_winans ‼️🐸
