Double's Play

The weekend matchup started on an outdoor court for the first doubles pairing, Yu-Chin Tsai and Chiko Mushika before the rain forced the duration of the match to take place indoors. The location of the court did not phase the pairing, however, as they went on to win 6-2, and the duo moved to a 4-2 record on the season.

Jade Otway and Isabel Pascual handily won their twos pairing with a score of 7-5, moving the duo to a season record of 3-1.

Singles Play

Isabel Pascual got the first singles win of the day for the Horned Frogs after defeating Maya Bordereau 6-0 and 6-1. Pascual moved to 4-3 on the season with that victory.

Otway continues to roll this season as she took down Love-Star Alexis in straight sets 6-1 and 7-5. With that win, she remained undefeated on the season in singles play and moved to 5-0.

Helena Narmont got the fourth and final point of the match after defeating Ting-Pei Chang in straight sets 6-0 and 7-5. The junior moved to 3-1 on the season.

The Head Coach, Lee Taylor Walker, expressed his pride in his team and said, "They discovered what it takes to win on the road."

The Horned Frogs travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bearcats on Sunday, March 3.
