Peachtree Ridge High School corner Dorian Barney commands an offer sheet that features programs like Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Ohio State, and USC. According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Barney ranks as the No. 63 prospect in the 2026 class and is seeing Tennessee for the first time this weekend.

Barney narrowed his recruitment to twelve schools earlier this week. Alabama, Clemson, Colorado, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and USC will continue competing for the talented defender. Barney hadn't been to Knoxville, Tennessee, yet, but makes his first trip to see the Vols this weekend.
Tennessee defensive backs coach Willie Martinez has worked hard at retooling his secondary through the high school ranks. This year will be a chance for some of the players he has recruited to see the field, and he'll use that in future pitches to these elite defensive back recruits. Barney is on everyone's radar early in the process, and we'll see where things progress.
