The annual Texas Longhorns football orange-white game will be the first glimpse for fans to see the Longhorns in action before the 2023 season opener against Rice on Saturday, Sept. 2.

Lots of newcomers - both freshmen and transfers - have arrived in Austin this season that fans can't wait to see.

Fans and coaches can't wait to see Arch Manning, Johntay Cook, Anthony Hill and Cedric Baxter - to name just a few - take the field on Saturday.

Steve Sarkisian announced in his media session on Tuesday DJ Campbell and Jalen Catalon will not participate in Saturday’s scrimmage.

Another storyline this season is quarterback Quinn Ewers. Many can't wait to see what progress he's made after an impressive first year with the Longhorns.

Coach Steve Sarkisian has been impressed with Ewers’ progress this spring. Ewers needs to look comfortable commanding the offense and being decisive this spring, and that will certainly heighten the expectations heading into the 2023 season.
