UCLA Football: High School Junior CB Commits To Bruins
The UCLA Bruins have secured the commitment of three-star 2025 cornerback Chase Coleman.
Coleman announced his decision via his personal X account. Bruins beat writer Ben Bolch of The Los Angeles Times shared the news via X.
Coleman is from Frisco, Texas, is listed at 6-foot-2 and weighs 160 pounds. The junior is the 63rd cornerback nationally and the 104th player ranked in his home state.
The Texas native has a tall and wiry frame and has shown the capacity to play on a perimeter. He is quick on his feet, shows promising awareness, and stays in phase to remain sticky downfield.
As a junior, he recorded 26 tackles, one tackle for loss, two interceptions, one fumble recovery, and four pass breakups.
The Bruins made him an offer just a couple of days ago, on April 6th. Only a couple of days later, he accepted the offer from UCLA. He also had other offers from Bethune-Cookman and North Texas.
This is a significant grab for head coach DeShaun Foster and associate head coach Eric Bieniemy.
Welcome to Westwood, Chase!
