UCLA Football: New-Look Bruins Emerge At Bottom Of Early Big Ten Power Rankings

These way-too-early Big 10 rankings aren't too kind to the Bruins.

The 2024 season presents a sense of newness for the UCLA Bruins. They will have a new head coach, an offensive coordinator, and a director of player personnel.

The Bruins will look different on the coaching and recruiting side of things, meaning they expect results. UCLA has been stuck in the mud for a while now, and they're hoping their fortunes change as they enter a new conference in 2024.

The Big 10 awaits the Bruins, and with it being a more challenging conference, many aren't giving them a shot at succeeding in the end.

According to Ryan Roberts of College Sports Wire, the Bruins are ranked 15th out of 18 programs in the way-too-early rankings of the Big 10.

Another new entrant into the new look Big Ten conference, the UCLA Bruins enter with a lot of uncertainty. New head coach DeShaun Foster brings a lot of optimism to the table, and is someone who loves the program and will do anything to help rebuild the proud Bruin tradition.

Granted, a ton can change in the coming months as players will still enter the portal, players will transfer, and injuries are bound to happen.

Roberts may not be a big fan of the Bruins entering 2024, but UCLA likes where their team is heading. They have a ton of promise and hope in early March, and they're hoping to dominate the recruiting cycle finally, something they didn't want to do with their previous head coach.

Head coach DeShaun Foster is now guiding the ship, and all eyes will be on him to see how he navigates it all.
