UCLA has a long history of success when it comes to their football programs and they've been home to some of the best players at each position. It's clear that over the years, they've grown into a top target for not only recruits coming out high school but also players who enter the transfer system.

The transfer system is quite interesting because different guys enter it for different reasons. Some believe that they deserve a bigger opportunity elsewhere and others want to simply live in a different region.

However, one of the biggest names to ever enter the portal and wind up on UCLA is undoubtedly Troy Aikman. He really found his arm when suiting up for the blue and gold and in Bruin Report's top 16 all-time transfer quarterbacks, he came in at number 11.

"Career accolades: National champion (1985), Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year (1987), All-American (1988) Aikman left Barry Switzer and the Sooners after the 1985 season and redshirted a year before assuming the reins under center for the Bruins. At UCLA, the future College Football and Pro Football Hall of Famer enjoyed a pair of stellar seasons, throwing for 41 total touchdowns and over 5,000 yards."

Aikman has a long history of dominance with the Bruins and it's truly incredible to think that UCLA landed him after he was already playing for another school!
