Although the emergence of true freshman Dante Moore as the UCLA Bruins' starting quarterback may have been fans' main takeaway from the club's 35-10 blowout of San Diego State University in Week 2, Chip Kelly had a different one.

Per Tracy Pierson of Bruin Report Online, the sixth-year UCLA head coach believed that the club's endearing defense moxie helped propel it to victory, in part.

"I think one of the biggest things was our resiliency as a team," Kelly opined. "You talk about being put in adverse situations, for our defense to go on the field with the ball on the half-yard line, and not only prevent points but come up with a turnover."
"The good part about it is the result is the offense went down the field and scored, taking advantage of the turnover that our defense created."
"I think our [linebacker] depth has shown through the other day, guys like JonJon Vaughns."

The Bruins' defense looked similarly excellent during the club's 59-7 victory over the North Carolina Central College Eagles Week 3 walkover.

So the question now becomes... how sustainable is it, really? Can UCLA's Bruins keep this up today, against the nationally-ranked Utah Utes?
