UCLA Women's Basketball: Two Bruins Stars Added to Pac-12 All-Defensive Team

The Bruins logged three All Pac-12 players, and now two stars have landed Pac-12 All-Defensive Team honors.

The UCLA Bruins have put together a successful season, which has led to a final #7 AP ranking. The team is expected to do well in the Pac-12 Tournament along with making a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.

Part of the reason behind the team being as successful as it has been has everything to do with Kiki Rice, Lauren Betts, and Charisma Osborne. All three have been given All Pac-12 Team honors for their performances this season.

Even more impressive is Betts and Osborne have been added to the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team.

Betts averaged 8.7 rebounds per game, along with securing 2.2 blocks per game. Her defensive capabilities coupled with her offensive scoring have led to both Pac-12 honors.

Osborne secured her second Pac-12 All-Defensive nod, as she led the Bruins with 409 points scored and 48 steals. Her 5 rebounds per game average and 1.7 steals average per game have led to her being a huge asset to the team's success.

This Bruins team is special, and it's proven by the players who have received these honors along with the many watchlists they have also been added to.
