The UCLA Bruins team has gelled in a way that has made the group very special. Week after week, they have found ways to dominate their opponents and put up historic numbers.

Charisma Osborne has been making so many three-pointers that she has now tied the school record for most threes with Kari Korver and Lisa Willis. Lauren Betts continues to show her elite defensive skills along with the stealing capabilities of Kiki Rice showing every game.

The Bruins went 11-0 during non-conference play, and now their AP rank has been revealed.

Out of the top 25 teams, the Bruins are still holding strong at #2. They have held this spot for quite a while, and have yet to edge out South Carolina for the top spot.

UCLA is an amazing team, and they will seek to carve out their place at the top when they take on USC on December 30. They will not have a chance to play South Carolina in the regular season, but the teams could face off in the NCAA Tournament later on.

Either way, being ranked #2 is nothing to scoff at. The Bruins are a gifted squad that can keep pace with anyone in the NCAA. Time will tell how truly great they will be at the end of the season.
