The floodgates have opened following the news that the USC Trojans' 11-year head coach Andy Enfield is departing for what he must see as greener pastures, a gig with Southern Methodist University.

Now, anyone on the team's roster, could leave, save one, reports Luca Evans of The Orange County Register.

6'10" junior power forward Harrison Hornery is the only player who is apparently committed to playing on the team in 2024-25. His mother, Dianne Parslow, informed Evans that the Mater Dei product will stick around no matter who is coaching next year.

“We have clearly sacrificed a lot of over the last eight years,” Parslow said, “and for Harry, it’s about finishing what we started, which is a degree at USC. Playing basketball is very important to him, and to transfer now would – it would be absolutely pointless.”

All of this year's current crop was recruited by Enfield. Starting small forward Kobe Johnson and reserves Oziyah Sellers and Kijani Wright have already ditched the Trojans in favor of the NCAA transfer portal. Vets Boogie Ellis, Joshua Morgan, and DJ Rodman have already graduated. Starting freshman guard Isaiah Collier, a five-star recruit out of high school who's expected to be a mid-to-late lottery pick could easily be a one-and-done player.

Evans reveals that Enfield made a point to inform his players of the news as a group, making sure they were appraised of the transition ahead of the press with a meeting last Tuesday. At the time, he was still deliberating between taking the job and staying with USC and ultimately made his choice this past weekend.
