The Trojans will travel 16,134 miles for away games in 2024

For USC football fans nervous about the team traveling further to away games in the Big Ten than the Pac-12, your concerns may be justified.

Cameron Salerno of CBSSports.com did the math and the Trojans will travel the longest distance of any team in the Big Ten to away games in 2024. Outside of UCLA, USC will play Maryland, Northwestern, Penn State and Purdue on the road. That adds up to 16,134 miles traveled, which is more than double the mileage every non-Los Angeles based school will have to go for away games. 

That's definitely something to think about...

USC'S 2024 BIG TEN OPPONENTS

Home: Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin

Away: Maryland, Northwestern, Penn State, Purdue, UCLA

In the non conference in 2024, USC is scheduled to play LSU in Las Vegas and then San Jose State to open the season. The Trojans will also play Notre Dame at home later in the year.

USC'S 2025 BIG TEN OPPONENTS

Home: Indiana, Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State, UCLA

Away: Minnesota, Ohio State, Rutgers, Wisconsin

USC will host Ole Miss and Georgia Southern in non conference games to start the 2025 season. The team will also travel to Notre Dame.
