In this story:

Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA) 2024 offensive tackle Kalolo Ta'aga started playing football just months ago. He had been focusing on basketball for the vast majority of his athletic career. But since the 6-7 275-pound hooper had shifted his focus to the Gridiron, he's received a plethora of offers from schools like Florida, ASU, and BYU.

With early signing day approaching and recruits looking to make their moves, Ta'aga decided to set this commitment date. Today, he announced on Twitter that he'll be committing to one of four schools. USC, Arizona, Cal, and Utah are the four schools that may land the raw talent out of Northern California.

Ta'aga will announce his commitment this Sunday, December 17th at 6 PM Pacific. He previously committed to San Jose State in July but reopened his recruitment after receiving additional offers throughout the summer. Worth noting is that he received the San Jose State offer before ever playing a snap of football.

USC was the most recent offer Ta'aga received of the four schools in his consideration set. He has visited all four of his top four schools but was most recently at USC taking his official just last week.

247 Sports considers Ta'aga a three-star prospect. The Trojans currently have 18 commits in their 2024 class and have been making a strong push to add to that number as early signing day approaches in just six days on December 20th. This weekend, the Trojans should see at least one additional commitment.
