In this story:

After reclassifying from the 2025 class to the 2024 class on Christmas Day, St. Francis Academy (Baltimore, MD) cornerback Kevyn Humes just announced his top schools list along with scheduled visits for five of them. As we discussed yesterday, Humes will be visiting USC on the 22nd.

Humes is also slated to visit Syracuse on January 12th, Penn State on the 19th, Notre Dame on the 26th, and Florida on February 2nd. Maryland rounds out his top six schools, without a visit date set just yet (he lives close by, so he's likely been on campus previously).

USC and Syracuse were the most recent of his top six schools to offer Humes, both extending him an offer just days after his reclassification to the 2024 class.

The 5'11", 185-pound corner is considered a three-star prospect according to 247Sports' normal rating, but a four-star prospect under its composite rating. He played mostly cornerback at St. Francis Academy, but was also utilized as a return man.

Humes faced top-notch competition during his junior season (his final high school season) at St. Francis Academy.

The Trojans' 2024 recruiting class picked up a handful of commitments in the days leading up to, and during the early signing day period.

Those signings, along with the rest of USC's 2024 recruiting class made up the 19th best class in the country according to 247Sports. While it's unlikely Humes will be able to contribute on the field in the Trojan secondary during his first year in Cardinal and Gold, he would be a great get for the Trojans given his experience covering some of the best receivers in the country at this high school level.
