USC Football: Trojans Offer 2025 Northern California Offensive Tackle John Mills

Trojans are joining the mix in the recruitment of Saint Ignatius offensive tackle John Mills

Saint Ignatius (San Francisco, CA) 2025 offensive tackle John Mills took to X/Twitter today to announce he received a scholarship offer from USC. Trojans offensive line coach Josh Henson put in the call to Mills to extend him his offer.

Mills is considered a three-star prospect by 247Sports, the 40th-best prospect in California in 2025, and the 37th-best offensive tackle recruit in the country. Mills had been spending his junior season focusing on getting his team to the state playoffs, and told AllTrojans.com he would be able to focus on his recruitment once his junior season ended.

Mills holds offers from UCLA, Arizona, Cal, Michigan, Nebraska, Nevada, Tennessee, and TCU to name a few. He measures up at 6-foot-6 about 320 pounds. He plays in one of if not the most competitive league in Northern California (West Catholic Athletic League), and has proven himself against some elite competition.

Back in November, Molls did mention to AllTrojans.com that he would be looking diligently into the academics of each of the schools he's being recruited by, as that seemed super important in his decision making process.

The Trojan's 2025 recruiting class still lacks any commitments as of today. Grabbing Mills would be a huge get for USC, as Mills is an excellent prospect, and a bit under the radar despite his three-star status by 247 Sports. Mills was named to the San Francisco Chronicle's first-team All Metro list, solidifying his status amongst the top offensive tackle prospects coming out of Northern California in the 2025 cycle.
