The Vanderbilot Commodores have struggled to a 1-5 mark at the midway point of the season. Part of the struggles have been at quarterback where starter Rile Neal and backup Deuce Wallace, who has seen limited time so far have both issues of inaccuracy issues.

Head coach Derek Mason was asked what needs to happen for either quarterback to fix their issues and become better players as the Commodores look to find answers and turn their season around in the second half.

While little things such as footwork are important for quarterbacks, finding success and building confidence on game day will be just as critical.

Both Neal and Wallace are expected to see action Saturday versus Missouri, and one or both need to begin to find that confidence for the Commodores or Saturday could turn into another long one for the home team at Vanderbilt Stadium.
