Tony Bennett and the Cavaliers are going on somewhat of an offering spree on the recruiting trail this week. In the last eight days, UVA has extended offers to five new targets in the recruiting class of 2025. The latest offer went to four-star combo guard Darius Adams, one of the top 20 overall recruits in the country, on Thursday morning.

A 6'4" guard from New Jersey, Adams previously played at Manasquan High School, but announced a couple of weeks ago that he would be transferring to La Lumiere School (La Porte, Indiana), one of the top high school basketball programs that consistently produces talented college basketball players and routinely plays games on national television. Adams averaged 20.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.9 assists last season and led Manasquan to its first-ever state championship, recording 22 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks in the title game.

247Sports rates Adams as the No. 19 overall recruit in the class of 2025, the No. 4 combo guard in the country, and the No. 2 player in the state of Indiana. In addition to Virginia, Adams has been offered by Florida State, Rutgers, Seton Hall, St. John's, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Providence, Washington, Penn State, Nebraska, and Fordham.

Adams is the fourth recruit in the class of 2025 to pick up an offer from the UVA coaching staff in the last few days, joining four-star wing Jacob Wilkins, four-star power forward Nikola Bundalo, and four-star power forward London Jemison

Virginia has now extended offers to seven players in the recruiting class of 2025:
